Registrations for Lindy Royale competitions have now closed. Social dancing day passes and spectator tickets will be available at the door (unless sold out)

All competitors and social dancers at Lindy Royale require a pass. Competitors then pay a fee per category entered, capped after 4 categories (i.e. after 4 categories, the rest are free).

Weekend Pass $120
Entry to Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, Sunday afternoon and Sunday night (does not include entry to Friday Fun Pit).

Single Day Pass $60
Entry to either all of Saturday or all of Sunday.

Competitor Fees $15 per category, capped at a maximum of $60 (4 categories)

Spectator ticket $15
For non-competing, non-social dancing audience members. Spectator tickets will be available at all Lindy Royale events (excluding Friday Fun Pit). Kids under 12 are free.

Competitor Registration Instructions

  1. Click the button above to be taken to the IWannaTicket booking page.
  2. On the first page choose your pass type and number of comp categories. If you are competing with 2 teams (or 2 showcases) this counts as 2 categories.
  3. On the second page, choose which categories you want to enter. If you are competing with 2 teams (or 2 showcase), ensure the quantity selected for this item is “2”, to allow you to enter multiple team names.
  4. On the next page enter your contact and payment info
  5. After the payment is processed, you will be asked for your dance partner’s name (where applicable). Providing that name does not register your partner for the event. Each dancer must register separately. If registering for teams, you will be asked for your team name or the names of others in your team. You will also be emailed a link where you can update this information later if you don’t currently have it available.

The closing date for registrations is Friday 9th August 2019, 11:59pm. No further competition registrations will be accepted after this date. Single day passes and spectator tickets will be available at the door for each event (except Friday Fun Pit).

We need volunteers to help us run the event. If you’re interested in getting a little cash back on your pass in exchange for helping out please email If you’re planning to compete as well as volunteer, please go ahead and register for your competition categories asap to avoid missing out.

If a category you wish to enter is sold out, you can email to be added to the waiting list. If any places become available within sufficient notice of the event date, they will be released in the order of the waiting list.

Refund policy
Full refund minus $20 processing fee before 21st July. 50% refund if cancelling between 22nd July – 4th August. No refunds after 4th August. For illness or injury, please contact
